This is one of my earlier poems, I like it, but it's not my favorite......

I have a very special friend,
My friend is good, my friend is kind.
Whether bad beginning, sorrowful end,
my friend will never leave my mind.
When I cry, my friend will weep with me.
If I'm happy, my friend is glad.
My friend may get disappointed in me,
but my friend not often gets mad.
We look alike, my friend and I.
We're practically twins, you see.
My friend's kindness, I can't deny,
my special friend is me.

I like it a lot. It seems at the beginning that you are talking about a different person but at then end you show us that it's you that is your friend. My fave lines were:

We look alike, my friend and I.
We're practically twins, you see.
My friend's kindness, I can't deny,
my special friend is me.

Good job........ I like your screen name by the by. big grin

DarkPoet,
Katie

What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you cry?~author unknown

Sometimes I see your face... I guess it's just a reflection of what I want to see. But it seems so real does it mean you're really watching over me? ~me

for the compliment. I really didn't have an inspiration for this one, it just sort of flowed out of me. I like your screen name too. It's much cooler than mine smile
