A Groan Man

I wouldn’t necessarily call it silence.
But the air conditioning moans,
The walls talk in echoed voices…
And my thoughts, diagnosed with anxiety disorders.

Quick footsteps along the distance of my mind,
So I stare under the door to absorb the shadows.
The tainted wall holds my reflection.
The floor supports my…wait.
It doesn’t support,
It’s just there to walk all over,
Over as my leg pulses,
Shakes to the rhythm
Of emotional music.
Don’t feel good?
So who’s sick?
Is it me?
Or should I panic in the cabinet?

I just like going off of my random thoughts during any time of the day...I was unemployed for a year and a half, and that's basically writers block for me because I'm inspired by working....weird enough to say that that's how I have a chance to write things down and elaborate on my thoughts. So since now that I have a job, I tend to write more pieces. You can find a link in my profile to my poetry webpage if you're interested. Thanks for the comments Piglet and Luvy....hehe.

See you later..

Hi PCH,

There have been some changes recently, essentially to try to "rationalise" the Writers Club.

If you go to the main Groups page, you'll see there are now the "original" Writers Club (this one), and several new ones - the "Workshop", the "Poetry" and the "Prose" forums (fora? - did we ever sort that out?)

The "original WC" is now (sort of) locked. You can only post comments to existing topics (as you did above), but can't post new topics here.

Instead, you post new work to one of the three new fora/ums (i) if your work is "completed", in Prose or Poetry as appropriate, or (ii) in Workshop if you want others to offer suggestions, criticisms advice etc about how to improve it.

The link below explains it all better than drooling shaking incontinent Davdoodles possibly could:

I just loved the imagery here, as well as the slightly mischeivious, and definetly witty plays on words. Great work.
