Precious love,
Bought from all the pain I've been fed,
Year after year.

Ocean's croon
Silent melodies from above
Crashing softly to earth as tears of golden light.

Broken halos
Raining in silver shards from the heavens,
Burn me in my sleep.

And now I beg you...

Listen to these words I speak:
Take me forever
Quiet one
Rock me gently
I belong to you
Cry for you,
Die for you
And yet, you turn away...

I love symbolic poems. They leave the reader to do the interpreting. This one is very special. Thanks for sharing.
