New Member kangyut has placed 7 post on her first day. All of her posts have links placed in them to NY escorts or NY Asian escorts. Will one of the Mod's please check into this.

TN, moderators, should we create a designated, and sticky, thread for spam to which any member can post if they happen to come across these posts?

I would even be so inclined as to suggest this thread be made the sticky thread with a new title of Spam Reporting (or Spam Watch, etc.). This may lighten the burden of some of the moderators as simply checking this thread would reduce some time spent searching for such spam to remove from their respective forums.

Just a thought.

I have been on holiday most of May, and that is why you may have seen a spate of spams in GD that may have gone unattended. TN was in the know of this, as I had mentioned my absence beforehand to him on a PT, as well as written a note in the mods corners.

Unfortunately, not too many mods are checking in on an everyday basis I think. But when they do, they DO look around other forums.

Kangyut was dealt with before I saw this thread... Thank you for your alertness round QL, it needs it specially now, since most members seem to not come here anymore.

Hello once again. I've been a bit prolific in spotting these members lately because I have become diligent in noticing new names (some of which I check, especially ones that appear obviously related to spam activities).

There is another member: Sanuk Cards Thailand

That has recently posted in the I Need a Quote! forum.

His post is related to selling quotations put onto cards and I am not sure if this would distinctly count as spam but I thought I would bring it to your attention regardless.

The member nancywilliams has posted her first post in the Knock Knock Qlers thread in GD.

At first glance I would say this is spam but it might simply be a misguided post as her link leads to a resume site.

I'll leave it to the moderators discretion, but thought I would point it out to you all the same.

In addition to my post above, there seems to be a double spam or possible violation of the single user name rule.

The thread Forced contraception of drug addicts in the Debate Forum was originally started by Jonusb.

His first post is obviously spam, revisiting our good friends topics about asian escorts.

There is a single reply by CarlyJasmine that "agrees" with his post and posts an additional link to "drug rehab." I did not visit these links for the potential of malicious software but based on the content of this thread, I feel it is obviously spam.

It is also at this time that I ask for the moderators or administrators to permanently ban the member Jonusb.

He has nine posts on this forum and all are spam posts (one can easily verify this). Based on stated rules in the sites constitution admonishing spam in posts and such statements about no tolerance, I feel this is the only action left against said member.
