Interesting. As I entered this forum I was, and still am, listening to...

Michael Jackson - They don't care about us

Surprisingly (yes laugh all you want!) Elvis Costello's "Good Year for the Roses...." I have always had a very weird kind of emotional attachment to that song... Made me stop crying when I was a kid...

"The Show Must Go On" - Queen.

Fits my mood.

Ya might have heard it in Moulin Rouge but slightly edited. The Queen version is better.

Ew Ew Ew, disgusting! Charlotte Church does not do the best version of Flower Duet. She more or less abuses it!

It is a duet and in the charlotte church version you barely hear the second singer. Further, Charlotte doesn't sing the entire song, just the middle 3 or so minutes. She's the female version of Bocelli. May they rot in hell!

Don't worry you are still cool sugarfairy. Smile

*I* shall come again,

Cheers!

Well, excuuuuse me Ladon, but that is the only version I have had access to Razz Razz

And now, I am listening to "One Way Out" by the Allman Brothers Band. 'Tis Ladon's fault, I blame it all on him. *poke* Wink

Taste- Lorna Vallings

If I could have just a moment of you
Would I be wanting more?
If I could have just a taste of you
Would I be addicted?
If I could have just a touch of you
Could I tear myself away?

I would pray to be the rain that runs over and in your skin
With no consequence
To be the liquid in your glass that falls around your lips and mouth
Swallow me

If I could have just a breath of you
Would you, could you infect me?
If I could have just a view of you
Would you leave your door ajar?
If I could have just a part of you
Let me drink of your tides

I would pray to be the rain that runs over and in your skin
With no consequence
To be the liquid in your glass that falls around your lips and mouth
Swallow me

And after would the silence thicken, stiffen?
Would I run home in the dark with something stolen?
Would you be slinking in my conscience, laughing?
Would this hunger ever cease?

You are the cliff that I'm walking
Lord help me if I fall
Are you more than my hunger?Baby. babe
Lord help me if I starve

If I could have just a moment of you
Would I be wanting more?
If I could have just a taste of you
Would I be addicted?
If I could have just a touch of you
Could I tear myself away?

I would pray to be the rain that runs over and in your skin
With no consequence
To be the liquid in your glass that falls around your lips and mouth

And after would the silence thicken, stiffen?

Sting and the Police

Everybody laughed when I told them
I wanted you, I wanted you
Everybody grinned they humoured me
They thought that someone had spiked my tea
Everybody screamed they told me you
Would cost the moon, we'll be there soon
Everybody laughed till they were blue
They didn't believe my words were true

Everybody laughed but you

It's easy to lose touch with all the friends
You like so much or liked so much
Everybody laughed they couldn't take me seriously
Abandoned me
Sometimes I would read of things they'd done in magazines
They made the scene
Everybody left with such important things to do
But I'm not blue

Everybody left but you
Everybody left but you

Many years have passed
And some have fallen by the way I heard them say
Everybody dreamed but those who fell
Are sleeping now, they're sleeping now
Everybody climbed like ivy to the top most branch
It was their chance
Everybody grasped till they were through
It's all they thought that they could do

Cause everybody fell
Everybody fell
Everybody fell but you

Rough Draft by Yellowcard

Like a Saturday night I'll be gone
Like a Saturday night I'll be gone
before you knew that I was there

So you wrote it down
I'm supposed to care
Even though it's never there
Sorry if I'm not prepared
Is it hard to see the things you substitute
For me and all my thoughts of you
It's eating me alive to leave you

Maybe it's childish and maybe it's wrong
But so is your blank stare in lieu of this song
Maybe it's childish and maybe it's wrong

Don't wanna be, don't wanna be wrong
You're leaving me, you're leaving me in lieu of this song
Don't wanna be, don't wanna be wrong
You're leaving me, you're leaving me in lieu of this song

I'm breathing in your skin tonight
Quiet is my loudest cry
Wouldn't wanna wake the eyes that make me melt inside
And if it's healthier to leave you be
may a sickness come and set me free
Kill me while I still believe that you were meant for me

I'm finding my own words, my own little stage
my own epic drama, my own scripted page
I'll send you the rough draft, I'll seal it with tears
Maybe you'll read it and I'll reappear
From the start it was shaky and the characters rash,
A nice setting for heartache where emotions come last
All I have deep inside, to overcome this desire
are friendly intentions and fair-weather smiles

And I don't wanna be, don't wanna be wrong
you're leaving me, you're leaving me in lieu of this song
Don't wanna be, don't wanna be wrong
You're leaving me, you're leaving me in lieu of this song

Like Saturday night I'll be gone
Like Saturday night I'll be gone
Like Saturday night I'll be gone
Like Saturday night I'll be gone before you knew that I was there

Now for your listening pleasure, one of the best, and least known, classical pieces ever:

Picutres at an Exabition by Modest Mussorgsky, orchestrated by Ravel.

listening to the deafening silence of this poor, dull library, but playing in my head a song by Avril Lavigne called "Anything But Ordinary." It's one of my theme songs.
