I am not sure about their meanings, but here are my interpretations- "Only the spoon knows what is stirring in the pot." -Sicilian Proverb Only someone who actually experiences something, actually knows/feels that something. For ex-only someone who goes through some pain, feels pained, maybe.
"Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance." -Confucius When you realize that you don't know so much about something, then you have some knowledge about that something. I read a saying like "When you think you know somethimng fully, you stop learning further about that." [Not necessarily the exact words.]
"Knowledge cultivates your seeds and does not sow in you seeds." -Kahlil Gibran, "A Handful of Sand on the Shore" The raw materials are present inside you, knowledge just makes them into finer models? It just explains what is known to your subconscious mind, to your conscious mind?
"Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information upon it." ?
Anyway...Welcome to Quoteland.

"Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information upon it." My algebra teacher always says that if you don't have the material memorized then you better know where to look to figure out how to get it. Anyways...to put it in a simpler way either you know something that you've studied and you have it in your head or you don't have it "memorized" but you know where you can find the info. That's just what I think...I'm bad at explaining things. -Megan Jean (I love the color yellow!) Everyone goes for Prego!
