That has almost a story like quality to it itself PHD. Although it is factual, I would like to see you flesh this out as a longer narrative if you could or are willing. Keep the same ending line you have now and such. I'm curious to see how this would evolve if you took up the task.

I guess the moral of this story (if there is a morale) is to just leave well enough alone.

It shouldn't be much trouble to stretch this story out a few more words and shine it up a bit so I'll put it on the shelf for a rainy day.

The good news is that I will be going camping at KOA in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, near South Cherokee National Forest on October 6th through 10th. Yep, I will be a-hunting for bear and boar on October 8 & 9. I will be arriving on Monday, October 6 to do some trout fishing and ATV riding in the mountains of eastern Tennessee and North Carolina. The even better news is that I will be getting a nice little bonus at the end of September which will pay for the better part of the trip.

One of my other 8 X 8 objectives for 2008 is to camp 8 nights and so far I only have four nights in camp on record. This hunting/camping trip should allow me to attain that objective.

GOOD NEWS:

My best friend started dating a great guy about a month ago. She invited me to go with her to a wedding on Friday afternoon, since he couldn't make it. I accepted the invitation once I spoke to my boss to get the afternoon off.

BAD NEWS:

I bought new shoes and jellwery, had my dress tailored and had a spray tan done.
She called me today and dumped me so that her new "boyfriend" can go with her, because he conveniently got the day off work.

The GOOD NEWS: Ole Miss beat #5 Florida Gators.

The BAD NEWS: Tennessee lost to Auburn.

The bad news: My wife has gained weight.

The good news: Her breast have gotten bigger.

The bad news: I am limited out on bear for the year.

Good News: My sister is pregnant with her second child.

Bad news: I have to move out in the next few months so that she can use the room for the baby.

Worse news: My other sister may be pregnant as well. She's only 18 years old and has 1 more year of school to complete.

The Good News: During the noon hour I met with one of my friends at the Catfish Galley for lunch

The Bad News: We got the oldest and least attractive waitress in the house.

The Good News: We ordered the two piece catfish plate and they gave us three pieces of catfish for the price of two.

The bad news: We didn't leave a hefty tip.

The other Good News: The cashier was cute and sassy so I gave her a tip.
