I'm not afraid of death itself, I am just afraid of how I am going to die. Like if I am going to burn to death, but if I am going to die in my sleep, I am alright with that!

I am "melony!"

Oh, wait, never mind. You don't believe in him. Lol. Ladon, Ladon. Tsk tsk. Wink Ahh, someone missed belesprit's former assertions on everything relating to this matter. It's okay, though. Death does not completely encompass a believer's errrr....belief structure. It is a factor.

So, um, dare I ask, what *is* a proper belief structure? Ironic to be asking you, this is. One who professes to believe in nothing. Smile Smile

Then again, I think I'll just let you have the last word, lest we inadvertantly change this thread's discussion pattern and get it locked. Frown

Hmmmmm this is interesting, because yesterday, Skeg and I were debating which is better- nothingness, or idleness. When you die, what would you rather (all beliefs or lack thereof put aside)...... I think this relates to the topic, no?

-A friend

We want to stand upon our own feet and look fair and square at the world - its good facts, its bad facts, its beauties, and its ugliness; see the world as it is and be not afraid of it. Conquer the world by intelligence and not merely by being slavishly subdued by the terror that comes from it.

Me thinks that it sorta relates. I can see a small connection between the two.

Am I afraid of death, you ask?

Me says no. Live life to the fullest and be all you can be. I mean, what if there IS life after death? Then you'll live forever. So, I will think positively about this, meditating to take my mind off this subject that's rotting my brain.

Hummmmm- hummmm.

*They can't tell me who to be* Cause I'm not what they see* Yeah, the world is still sleeping while I keep on dreaming for me* And their words are just whispers and lies that I'll never believe*

Everyone is so much braver than I am! I am very scared of death. Not of possible pain or anything, but the unknown. Whether it is a new job, wading from the warm sun into a cold pool, or death, I fear anything and everything that is unknown. At least until I jump in. Also, like any typical tyle-A personality, I have major control issues. And I death is something that I have no control over. That also scares me to, well, death.
