If men and women are equal, why have seperate sports?

By nature, men have more strength and women have more flexibility. So, they are skilled more on different levels. That's the only reason I can really think of right now.

Even though men and women are completely equal mentally, we can't pretend that they are on equal physical levels.

Men are on average, much stronger than women. Men playing against women would be a one-sided game, and possibly dangerous.
