Well FairGwen, another year has passed. One year ago today you received similar congratulations here. Since that day one year ago many things have happened, many good, many not so good. But you're still here with us, and making this place better by your presence. I know that you've had a bit of a rough go of it lately, yet you're still around making all of our days just a little bit brighter, because you're not a quitter.

You have a way of making all those about you feel brighter, and warmer - just from knowing you. You are indeed one of a kind, dear Fair...Please don't ever change.

Astrologically, Virgos are considered the most detail oriented sign of the Zodiac -- the nit pickers and perfectionists. They are home, hearth, motherhood, and nurturing oriented. My own characterization of the dyed in the wool Virgo mother:

Your five year old kid is chafing at the bit to get out and play in the snow. He/she is standing at the front door awaiting your approval to go out in the 15 degree weather. He/she is nude with the exception of one blue and one green sock. The extreme Virgo mother will be hysterical because the socks don't match -- and totally misses that the kid is nude and parts of his/her body will freeze and fall off.....
