I am seriously hooked on Chai tea. Usually I take a mug of Black Spice Chai to class in the morning (definitely with sugar, sometimes with a little bit of milk... no brandy, tho Wink). I've also tried making my own Chai and that's really good, too!
Also big favorites: Apple Pie and Nutcracker Sweet (a Christmas Tea).

I was just informed by my doctor that I can absolutely not have anything caffeinated(chocolate, soda, coffee, tea) and I can't even have soda, coffee, or tea without caffeine. So..even if I liked tea I couldn't have it. Wink

slakist: I'll just post the recipe so others can try it if they want to.
Winter Marsala Chai

  • 1 Tbsp. Whole Cardamom
  • 2 Large Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1/2 tsp. Whole Cloves
  • 2 Whole Star Anise Stars
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground Ginger

Fill a medium teapot with boiling water. Add tea bag & spices. Let steep, covered, for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bag only. Let steep for 10 more minutes. Strain spices and serve.

I actually just recently started drinking tea. My favorites are green tea and raspberry iced-tea. I can't wait to try that chai though! Thanks for the recipe.

Is the best thing in the world. My favorite is Mint Medely and Plantation Mint mixed together with sugar or honey. But something that is really good is Mixed berry basket. Add 8 bags of that stuff to a boiling teapot and sit down with a good book (Something by David Eddings or R.A. Salvatore) and enjoy.

And yes it does need 8 bags to have a nice flavor. Sugar is optional.

Usually Peppermint or Cammomile tea. I don't drink tea very often, not too fond of caffeine.

There are lots of reasons why I enjoy a hot cup of tea: I love the aroma of various flavors of tea; holding onto a hot tea mug warms my hands on a cold winter morning; sipping tea in front of the fireplace is a great way to relax. And those are just the feel-good reasons. If you're not drinking tea yet, read up on these 10 ways tea does your body good and then see if you're ready to change your Starbucks order..
