I just wanted to say that last weekend was fantastic.

I, my wife and three kids flew down south, hired a car and ended up in the Cotswolds. We stayed with my parents. Great to see them again.

The next day my brother, his wife and one of his kids turned up. Great to see them again.
One of my cousins appeared. Great to see her again.

Later that afternoon my wife and I headed off to a birthday party where we were to stay the night in a fabulous hotel, Billesley Manor near Stratford, wined, dined and boarded at our hosts' expense! Great company to 3.30a.m.

Next day, back to the parents and an a capella recital by my cousin at a local church. Awe inspiring.

Back to the airport, back to Glasgow, recharged and happy.

Get Curious!

Happy Management Post!
My happiness is unmanageable! The word “Happy”, perhaps, doesn’t quite describe my state when I’m really happy – I’m exhilarated, intoxicated, ecstatic…

lol but anyhow, nice thread… after the “Anger Management thread”, this might be a nice change [or was there another thread like this by InocntlilgrlNOT (I don't know whether/not that's the spelling that you use for your username, ilgNot Big Grin!)? I think there was..]

I’m happy that the headache that bugged me yesterday isn’t bugging me today. I’m not exhilarated at the moment but there are things to be happy about. I am happy I have friends [yeah, not friends but friends, as Sanya’s theory goes (read her prose "..Friends.." for more information)], I’m happy to have come across so many wonderful 'net-associates (all of you at QL and another site, etc.) in my life. I’m … well, maybe I should come to this thread when I’m really happy. Right now I’m just OK.. But yes, as always, I'm happy to have such lovely loving loved ones..
Though, by this time, when I’m editing this post, I am happy!

The stars shine down
And watch us live
Our little lives
and weep for us.

I'm happy that Meg is happy. I'd be happier if her website was yellow.

I'm happy my paper due tonight is finished. I'm happy my head doesn't hurt too bad. I'm happy I'm about to take a long hot shower. I'm happy I was able to write yesterday (even if my husband laughed at what I wrote).

Did I say I was happy my paper due tonight is finished? This means I can reread Hawthorn who was due last week, but since we didn't have class, he's due again this week.

(Now can I go over to anger management and post what I'm not happy about?)

"There may be something in what you say, Rabbit," Eeyore said at last. "I have been neglecting you. I must move about more. I must come and go."
"That's right, Eeyore. Drop in on any of us at anytime, when you feel like it."
"Thank you Rabbit. And if anyone says in a loud voice "Bother, it's Eeyore" I can drop out again."

Hehehe. I think I may have found a way to beat the system. Oh yeah, this is a fun trick up my sleeve. Just because the geniuses in my department can't schedule enough spaces in my drawing class for all the people that need it doesn't mean they are going to mess with my entire college class path. Heavens no! Not without a fight. Hmph.

Crossing my fingers and hoping the art department likes me, and that my department sees my point of view! Maybe!

If this doesn't work, you'll be hearing from me in the anger management post.

I'm incrediably happy I get to spend Valentines Day with 3 of my best friends, instead of wallowing in self pity on the couch with a bottle of vodka watching "Sleepless In Seattle" like a worn out cliché.

Love. Such imprecision. Sentiment, fantasy, longing, lust? Obsession, devouring need? Perhaps the only love that is accurate without qualification is the love of a very young child. Afterwords, she too becomes a person, and thus comprimised.

I'm happy my doctors appt. is over and I don't have to go back for a whole year.

I'm happy for many reasons. One being, I just walked home with a dear old friend and... well, friend will do. And, haven't felt that complete and happy in a long time.

I'm happy robots were due yesterday and I got to spent time with my husband last night. I'm happy I get to spend ALL DAY Saturday with him (since he says it's my day). This will be the first v-day we weren't in class or at his mom's.

I'm extremely happy it may snow Saturday night, though if we lose power, you'll be hearing from me in anger mang. post. (My fish and stars NEED their heaters-I will not be happy if I lose my fish/stars due to some fluke snow/icey thing that happens to come in the middle of Feb).

I'm happy today if Friday.

I'm happy Lex wrote a great start to our story. (Of course, it'll be hard for my writing to get close to being on par with hers) But I'm happy that not only do I get to write, I get to write about what I love and believe in.

Edit: I super duper happy my husband just brought me flowers at work. Big Grin <- my grin is bigger than that. Potted ones even! [they won't die as fast!) [Of course, they may give my boss a headache but I GOT FLOWERS! He's never bought me flowers before [he has picked them for me though). And he's on his way to go get tickets for the play tonight or tomorrow night! Yea!
