F.H. Burnett is the author of the quote: "A garden is not for giving or taking. A garden is for all."

I'm looking for any information that confirms that this author said this quote. Also, any information on the author would be helpful.

Her full name is Francis Eliza Hodgson Burnett and she's a british-born american authoress. (1849-1924) She wrote childrens stories the most famous of which is The Little Princess. hope this helps!

Here's another quote by her:
"At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope that it can be done, then they see that it can be done--then it is done and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago."

Have a fantastical day!
