Hi there )
I heard that William said something like "silence means you agree". I know the wording isn't correct, but thats the gist of it. I can't remember for my life what it really is - so, if anyone is able to help me, and knows what I'm talking about - I'll be more than happy to hear them out )

But my memory tells me that Ghandi said something like it as well.

Check Bolt's play "A Man for All Seasons" in which Sir Thomas More challenges Cromwell's contention that silence gives consent. The challenge is based on a point of English law, namely, that silence does not indicate consent.
