I don't know how philisophical you want to be but I have a big sense of humor. These quotes are a little silly but the source is witty and it shows you can read something into just about anything! "Keep cool, but don't freeze" -Mayonaise jar "Chill and shake well" -Lemon juice "New and improved!" -You name it...

this is way late, but I'm throwing it out there ... in response to the "to thy ownself be true" -lyric of Reba Mccintire idea: this is part of a larger quote from Shakespeare in which Polonius is giving advice to his son Laertes. This might be one of the most widely misunderstood quotations of the play. People tend to repeat it as some sort of montra of inspiration. Take into account that Polonius was a hypocrite who was, in the full quote, basically telling his son to disregard others and look out for himself.

in all likleyhood Reba isn't smart enough to think of that. Alas, she wasn't. To thine own self be true - its a quote from Hamlet, and its my tattoo.

this may be a bit late but for the fiancees,
"all you need is love" "love is all you need"
...the same idea but uniquely different and goes together well as a pair.
