I have tried to research this twice and I have come up empty. I can say with reasonable certainty that it is not from a song. Either it is real new or real old but in any event it has no exposure on the internet.

The statement sounds remotely familar so I am inclinded to say that it might be more than 30 years old. (My memory gets a bit vague after 30 years.)
