Sentrawoods retired as moderator some time ago (late 2006) and I let the event pass without a proper public expression of gratitude for the tireless effort he gave in service to Quoteland.
When David handed the torch to me to bear, it was a daunting task to contemplate. Sentrawoods helped me in so many ways that I could not even begin to list them all. I see that he still participates and must have changed his title to Explorer. I like that title very much, and I sincerely hope all his adventures are good ones. On behalf of Quoteland, I express my deep gratitude to Sentrawoods for all of his service to help our community of friends.
Yep, same here... when I was sick and out of sorts, Sentra took care of things on this side for me. "Tireless effort" is exactly right-- you have my thanks as well, Sentra!
Yep, he helped me out as well in the past. Glad to see he's still posting.
"I'm telling you. People come and go in this Forest, and they say, 'It's only Eeyore, so it doesn't count.' They walk to and fro saying, 'Ha ha!' But do they know anything about A? They don't. It's just three sticks to them. But to the Educated - mark this, little Piglet- to the Educated, not meaning Poohs and Piglets, it's a great and glorious A." --Eeyore, The House at Pooh Corner
Sentrawoods deserves a gold star! He was definitely there to help me wheni first took over from him. I have BIG shoes to fill.
Thanks Ken!
I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me! ~Dr. Seuss

Thanks for all your hard work in moderating and for always being open to suggestions and advice from other members, Ken, you did a fantastic job. Now, we just need to have you around a bit more often...

Well it's been some time since I've been here to Quoteland and things are looking good. Life has a way of changing things you used to do on a daily basis. Different goals are set and people enter your life which change the way you feel and change your priorities.
When I first came to this site I knew nothing of poetry and discussion groups. To have been picked by David to moderate was an honor. I hope that I have brought a bit of something to these boards and at least a bit of entertainment...lol
Thank you Jon for bringing an old man out of the woods to post once again, maybe I'll stop in more often.
