In recognition of Fuzzies' leadership and proactive participation on Literature and the entire Quoteland site, the moderators have decided to recognize him with the charge of his own forum.
I'd like to extend my personal welcome to our newest moderator.
YAY FUZZIES I was wondering when this day would come. I thought it would a few months ago when the forum was created.... anyway I'm really happy for you and I know you'll do a good job. Plus you've been around here a while and you seem really patient, smart, annnnnnd........ fair. Yes. Well. Good Luck

Congrats Matt Can I say it, please please, I TOLD YOU SO this would happen- and you completely deserve it. Now you really have that ALL POWERFUL POWER to poke people with the grammar stick if you so choose, and challenge insanely. Maybe with this new addition to the team, Quoteland won't be so dead after all
Quoteland's looking bright! Just don't moderate my posts.
Certain events led me to the thought of lobbying for this to happen, but it seems as though the mere thought that popped into my head may have had a grand magnitude of influence. Thank ME!!! teehee
Indeed, I'm sure the shockwave of positive karma from this event will reverberate around the globe, bringing peace, prosperity, and grinning, exuberant walruses to the oppressed and destitute of the world. Thanks to David for his commitment to helping the hopeless and uninspired, and to Fuzzies for the recognition he's received for his dedication.
Well, I'll do my best, go easy on me folks, I'm a newbie to something else now...
I'll try and be fair, and I'll be very cautious of what I'm doing for some time...
But all and all, I just hope I can do good by everyone and make a happy contribution...
Smile!
Matt/Fuzzies

It was quite amusing… I was just strolling down the main page and I see your name, Fuzzies, bolded and underlined. I thought about it a bit and then saw this topic.
As much as I jealous and envy you right now, I’m very happy for you man. Congratulations, and may this new power, finally, make you cool.
Really though, you deserved this man! Also, as Lex said, poke people with the grammer stick. Scrutinize me!!!! I’ll need all the poking I can get.
You've been a great addition to QL. Always on top of new, creative, educational topics - You'll be perfect for the job! Again, congrats and keep on doing what you’re doing…
YAY FOR MATTY!
*Whispers* If you need help on poking people, you know where to find me.

Congradulations! Based on what I know of you in this site, and your replies and posts, this is a very well deserved. I think your truly deserving of this, and I feel you will be able to handle the expecations and duties. Once again Congradulations fuzzies!
Hehehe, as to poking with the Grammar Stick, don't forget to poke me right back! I may be a mod, but that doesn't make my absent-mindedness disappear!

Fuzzies my friend, I remember over a year ago when I stumbled upon this fine site. I posted a few pieces of poetry, started interacting with other members, became more confident in my writing abilities, and then......... I saw that blasted clown! And I thought to myself:"How could a member with such a friendly name like Fuzzies have such a frightening avatar?" It even inspired me to write a poem about my dreaded fear of them. Well 14 months later, and countless hours of therapy, I no longer break out into a cold sweat every time I see one of your posts. I actually came to like the little clown dude you had as you avatar. Now your new clown did cause some setbacks in my daily battle, but right now as I am typing this I'm as proud as punch to be smiling back at him. ( that is a smile on his face and not a growl right?)
It's an honor, a privilege, and a pleasure to now officially had over the key to the Literature Forum. Just remember not to lock yourself out Matty because Gem and I forgot to make a copy!
Congratulations my friend! You've earned it!
Hugs Matty! your wee little Pammy

Great stuff. Your 16 months here seemed to have flashed by. So pleased that you'll be moderating your forum. I've always enjoyed your input and very much admired your honesty with some very sensitive issues.
WELCOME (to 'moderatorship')!! Oh I think I should say “congratulations” – it implies the same thing: I’m happy to have you as a moderator . Well-deserved I think, you infuse passion in QL, keep that up, I think you would do a fine job as a moderator.. I hope I wouldn’t bug you too much, I wouldn’t promise though . Take care, good luck!!!! – and be yourself~ Congrates and good luck! Smile!
