The Time Is Now

Stumbling, staggering
Falling all the way
Left to myself
No hope for later

You brought me here
Then turned your ear
You refuse to hear
Refuse to feel

You don’t see my struggle
And my pain has no matter
You’re blind to my tears and fears
I’m no longer your concern

You gained my soul
Consumed me in your flames
You won again, one victory more
And now I’m your slave, eternity on

I had my chance
My time, my place
I passed it by
The wind carried it away

I Died
No bright light for me
Satan caught up to me
When I left Jesus behind
