He went to drink some absinthe
And later watched his chunder hurled
Into a bathroom sink.

Next word: rooibos (a.k.a. "red bush tea")

Since "ROOIBOS" is an Afrikaans word I'm going to try my Rhyme in Afrikaans. Mega Wink

Rooibos met jou heerlike ruik so pragtig,
Rooibos jy proe so goed, jy kan dit sien op my gesig.

I know this is really bad, and my afrikaans isn't so good. Here's the translation:

Rooibos with your pleasant smell so brilliant,
Rooibos you taste so good, you can see it on my face.

Erm...

Please forgive this!! Erm... LOL

The sky is on fire-- in lightening.
I find it all so frightening!
And, yet, when thunder explains it's woes...
I find it quite enlightening. Wink

(*winces* Weak, I know. And I even got an easy one...)

Memories begin to flicker
In and out of my head.
Emotions stir,
And scatter my
Memoirs like polaroids
Into a basket
Made of wicker.

Next: distasteful

I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me! ~Dr. Seuss

next word: tired Frown

"We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off."

tyres never get tired,
cause inside they're wired,
screaching and scorching on rubber skin outside,
On tracks dirty, bumpy n broken and on roads narrow or wide,
They smoke, they kiss, they smooch as they slide.
In these momentous moments some survive,
and the not so luck they just die.
A few live for while, cracked,
scratched, bruised, out of shape n whacked
One or two of the priceless ones smacked,
Beaten, prodded, heated and put back into shape
For auctioning and selling, packaged in shiny tape...
...tyres never get tired,
just one day may be, online and wirelessly wired Smile)

The next word is smile

My pain seems to fade away for a while
And life is no longer a terrible trial
Though we all still walk in single file.

Dance to the jingle of the tambourine
Feel the music, be serene.

In keeping with the musical theme, how about calliope?
