Off-topic.

As to the unisex bathroom idea, fine. Remove all women's and men's rooms and install all gender neutral restrooms. It's fair to everyone and no one "has to" worry about sexual assault. Unfortunately, I don't think most companies are willing to put forward the kind of money, time, and space needed to do those renovations. Some sort of law, I assume, would need to be passed first (taking time), they'd probably drag their feet doing it (taking more time), and the construction itself would take time. My point? Even if your idea was implemented, you would still have to decide where transsexuals would use the restroom in the mean time; hence I respectfully ask you to address the points I made in my last post(s).

Maybe I'm crazy, but what renovations?
Just take off the "Mens" and "Womens" signs and put "Bathroom" or those signs with BOTH the man and women stick figures.

HEY! I just got a crazy ass solution!

When I was diagnosed by my fully licensed psycologist, I got a document stating that I am in fact transsexual. Now, I pass damn near 100% despite not having started hormones (I'm having financial problems).
Why not, in addition to said document, include a card for a transsexuals wallet. Something at least as hard to forge as a driver's license.
In the EXTREMELY RARE event that some women in the women's room figures out I was born male, cat's already out of the bag, wouldn't mind showing a cop that card.
Perverts can't get the document, they won't be able to get the card either.

There! Problem solved!
As far as being a threat...
For me to have been oked for transition, my psychologist had to determine I am of sound mind, and didn't have devious intent. She, yes, my psycologist was born female and still is, would never have given my any documents for treatment if she thought I'd go raping people.

So, I fully intent to continue heading to the women's room, doing my business, washing my hands, maybe using the mirror before I leave, and walking out. Don't like it, I just don't care. Sorry, but my plate is WAY too full for me to care that your prejudice makes you uncomfortable. Of course, that's only if you even noticed.

I'd say that's a decent solution, but you can't depend on anyone being completely rational when they think they are in danger or are just uncomfortable.

I sure will not like a guy sharing a bathroom with me in my work place. If (s)he has a penis, he is a guy in my book, so sorry.

For one, they can not aim, two - I simply don't feel safe.

If transsexuals are allowed, any man can pretend to be "transsexual" and then go into a bathroom where women are.

Some cultures also don't believe in sharing bathrooms with men.

Feeling safe is the key word and if no one feels safe then the situation itself is not safe..

Sad; truly, and I for one would not pretend to be a transsexual.. It is sick enough to become a transsexual person, but it is worser to pretend to be a transsexual person; however, I don't want a transsexual man in the mens restroom so I say get the hell out and go next door where your act fits you.

One should not consider himself above another just because he has shown a great deal in education; however, it is nothing special that some are more educated than others, and it is nothing to brag about, but it is wise to consider the possibilities that you can use your education to keep others who are not as educated in great use.

They can by all means come into the bathroom once their anatomy are more or less like that of a women's anatomy. By saying this, I mean they must not have a penis anymore. The problem is how will one ever know if that is the case.

So it is better to provide them with their own bathrooms, where they can do the things they do, whatever it might be.

It is bad enough that I have to fear using public bathrooms because of straight men that can not behave. I don't want to worry about men who think they are women too.

Well not what mean.. Bad choice of words and I am sorry for saying that.. What I mean is for me to be a transsexual is sick or for me to pretend to be is sicker, but those who are transsexual are not sick.. They are just doing what they feel. The way they feel.. They want to be a woman or a man.. That's their decision, but if it were I who was thinking about becoming a transsexual, then personally I would blow my brains.. I have transsexual friends and I respect them, but I don't want them in my bathroom either. I think RissiePit said it best, they need their own bathroom.

Transsexual are good people, but sometimes not and that is what we have to watch out for..

Again I am sorry for saying they are sick.. They are not and some of them are so kind.. A friend of mine name Shelly is a transsexual and I remember one day I dropped my wallet and she/he picked it up and followed me out to my car and gave it back to me. I said thanks and I offered her a 20 dollar bill and she would not accept so I asked her to let me take her to dinner.. Then right before we went she explained, she was a transsexual and I told her I figured that much. She laughed. We have been friends ever since and I let her read the post from RissiePit and she says she agrees with him..

Again I am sorry for the miscommunication...

I am sorry and I should have not excumed... I made a mistake and I am sorry. I should have checked your profile rather than excume...

My mother always taught me this,

"Woman, are the most dangerous form in life, but they are also the most loved and the most needed form to continue existence; clearly, we should respect them with the highest standards."

I am sorry and it will not happen again...
Sorry for the off topic part quotelanders.

Transsexual's are human and they deserve a room on this earth just as much as we do..
