Simple question is why not? If it's really perfect and it's really the way of life ... why not? Why not word by word?

It's really hard for you to catch on the keynote, isn't it? Nowhere did I brought up Islam as a hallmark of perfection. 'Best' is not the same thing as 'perfect'. If you doubt me, just damn well better look up some dictionary.
Why not word for word? Let me ask you. How many times have a course of action that you had planned for been carried through flawlessly? Well unless you are a celestial being, which I very well doubt that you are, there's no way I know you can master perfection as an art.

Yes but doesn't mean they are right. May be right for them but still doesn't mean they know sh*t.

'They' [the religion followers] are not right, yet the religion in itself is right for 'them'? That just doesn't stack up. Mind re-explaining?

No.

I dare you go to any Islamic Masajid and say that the religion is 'best' but not 'perfect'. They'll teach you a good Islamic ass beating. Although you believe that it is not 'perfect', most Muslim would strongly disagree. Why wouldn't it be perfect anyway? It came from the words of the God isn't it? If it came directly from the words of God and God is perfect so why wouldn't it be perfect?

In this case, why don't you join a real religion then? A religion that claims perfection like ... Christianity and the bible? I bet most Christians believe that the bible is perfect.

What I meant was, the religion could be the right path for the followers to live their lives. However, it doesn't have to the be the only correct and only path for all human being. Different strokes for different folks homie.

But I am not God. I am not even Mohammad. As I said, if God is perfect and if Mohammad got everything directly from God, why wouldn't it be perfect? Where is the flaw?

Lastly, if you don't follow it word by word, how do you follow it? Selectively? How do you know which one to follow and which one to disregards? ... since ... as you said ... "how many times have a course of action that you had planned for been carried trough flawlessly?"

So I guess you as a imperfect human being just follow it blindly then.
