However, if you believe in evolution then the chicken must have evolved from something else. Therefore, the chicken came after the egg because before that egg there was no chicken.
sorry. my viewpoint is that the egg came first, because some mutation on a similar animals offspring caused the DNA to create the first chicken while in the embryonic stage in the egg.
Or, of course, there's the problem of the question being faulty in the first place: Egg first—dinosaurs, man.
