Picture of Pierced-by-His-Arrow

It's 5 am.
I haven't been asleep.
I just finished painting my nails
a color called
"Midnight Affair,"
and it's well passed
midnight.
I wish you were here
So I could press my chest
into yours
to sleep.
My chest aches
For yours against mine-
The Heat,
The Beat,
The Passion,
and
The Love
From You into Me.
I'll surrender to You.
My Aches.
My
Love
agm

This is deeply romantic and crosses the border into erotic. It appears to be written from genuine emotions and it is consise and to the point, much like the artful arrow of Cupid himself.

I feel that it might be better titled as Midnight Affair. I also feel that it offers a generous amount of masculine appeal. Wink

Thank you PD, and after thought I do agree on the title change, and I will do.

Yes it's my feelings as written from the heart pierced by his arrow. I must say you "hit the target" with what I had hoped I brought to my poem, which actually was just me writing out my feelings.

Thanks for your comments.

This is hot

It's very hot and vivid. I haven't read a good one here that I like in a long time (there are a lot of great poems that I don't feel).

This one I feel.

P.S I think you might like the poem of Lost Butterfly. There are slight similarity. I am a fan of her and now yours.

"Nunc Scio Quit Sit Amor" Smile
But it's still not premarital sex
if you don't plan on getting married Wink

KO- Thanks for letting me know that those simple words written still burn with the fire I wrote them with.

I'm new to QL, so I haven't been places much, but I did read the poem "Circular Reason" that PD brought out of the shadows. That's a very thought provoking/self evaluating poem for anyone, and I like to think/self-evaluate, which your poem provided. I will visit others of yours on my travels in QL.

K.O's poem, Circular Reason, was not half bad but your poem, Midnight Affair, is a real humdinger. Big Grin
