I strip myself back and not off
This statement is devoid of words
The framework does not work with paragraphs
To accept another is to make exceptions
Granted, your wish, though not your prayer
Do not take the refining process for granted

May he who illuminated this illuminate me.

May he whose thoughts illuminated the work illuminate me! Big Grin
Master of Abstraction living upto his image here!

Is this a bead in the string of the recent rebellious postings by some poets here?
For what I dig here is, a prodding to give Ql-critics a field day perhaps. I may be off the mark.
"This statement is devoid of words
The framework does not work with paragraphs"
Such lines seemed suggestive of the aforementioned. Kind of, this poem is how I want it, humor yourself trying to refine it now. Confused Big Grin

Regarding your articulation,
Granted, your wish, though not your prayer
-wish and prayer, ah, they may be different, I have thought so previously. I wonder what it implies here though, what’s the [reader’s] wish and what’s the prayer? You certainly do not have to explain if you do not wish to, I am merely speculating.

Stripping oneself back and not off, again, thought-spurring.

An idle thought,
To accept another is to make exceptions
-you could play with accepting/excepting, sound similar [accepting another is excepting?]

This might be a spur-o’-the-moment or frivolous poem, however to me it appears an investment of deep and organized thought, even if it may be out of my grasp. Smile
Thanks, as always, for getting my grey matter activated! Wink
Keep sharing and I’d keep speculating and reading and sharing.

And I wanted a mother and a father and I begot night and the sea."
