How can you always make me cry?
You can break me down,
Till I'm weak inside.
Your words rip through me,
Going straight to the heart.

You've b r o k e n me
My heart has s h a t t e r e d
And now I'm falling a p a r t

The destruction of a family,
Is nothing to take pride in!
The disguise you've made yourself,
Isn't something you can hide in!

Hiding from the world,
Won't make the wrong, right.
So come out of hiding,
And fix what you have done!

"Life is full of misery, loneliness, and suffering - and it's all over much too soon."-Woody Allen

ohhh, if you don't mind my asking, who is this poem about?
I can relate to the subject very well.
I like the demanding, strong nature of it. In the face of defeat, there is no yielding. Smile

I like how you put spaaces between certain words in the second stanza.

quote:
You've b r o k e n me
My heart has s h a t t e r e d
And now I'm falling a p a r t

This illustrates your poem within the text; creativity is always a plus.

I have some suggestions, but technically this should be moved to the Workshop, if you want praise, this is very nice... but it needs work

Well FuzziesI would post my works in workshop before bringing them here but with the two poems I did post there no one had anything to say to help me with them no one ever says anything till my poems are here. Thank you for telling me to post it there but I feel it has no affect on my poem because no one has anything to say so I would rather post it here and have people comment on it.

You portray first the weakness of vulnerability and then its strength by making it challenge whoever's taking it for granted.

The disguise you've made yourself,
Isn't something you can hide in!

Hiding from the world,
Won't make the wrong, right.

As usual your simple and well-knit words reflect the reality, and are an eye-opener. Thanks.

Keep being, keep loving and keep sharing!

Uplifted in its quest – and uplifting by its own essence. Seeking God – and finding itself. Showing that there is no higher reach beyond its own form. …"
