It's excellent. I think from time to time we can all give up on whatever our chosen field may be. I know I certainly have and have come to regret doing so.
I bounced back though, and it's true what you said you shouldn't give up - no matter what it is.
I care for my elderly aunt who has Alzheimers, life can be very difficult day to day, as I never know what each day will bring. She, poor soul, naturally does not even know she has this horrible condition, so her day is a very simple one. I am all she has in the world, which is why I am caring for her.
It may be that this will become too much for me, and she may have to go to a nursing home nearby, there are some excellent ones in my immediate area - alas, no matter how beautiful or good they are, I still feel this will be a last resort when, and only when, I can no longer cope.
I do wish they could find a magic pill for this condition, it's such sadness daily to watch and deal with.
I don't want to get to the end of my life and find that I lived just the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.
