Oh, Something Can be said Of desire, need- To be touched, in love. Perhaps it’s too much but, You ask for it- anyway. The comfort of hands, fingers, on skin; Of limbs wrapped around you- heavenly. Warm comfort, never fails to amaze me.
From their first squalling, children crave contact, The power of life flows, skin-to-skin “Just calm the child,”- she sings truth Cries silenced by a touch, held. The baby isn’t afraid, Until adulthood, to ask for it. The comfort, needing, Love.

I think you did a great job with this piece. Firstly, awesome dual Etheree's, secondly I really like how your second stanza dramatically veers away from the assumed subject in your first stanza, only to circle back to it by the 7th line. I think its impressive you managed such a swing in so few lines.
I think this is a sign of more good things to come, keep it up!
I have read this numerous times, and I am so vain I felt it was written specifically for me. Because I have spent so much time looking for it - unfortunately, many times we don't realize that is all we are looking for - just a little bit of comfort.
It so happens that I was reading an old book shortly before logging onto the forum. It so happens that the book du jour was 'The Four Loves' by CS Lewis, where he breaks down the different aspects of our love (including need-love and gift-love).
The two flowed together beautifully.
