it's been a while since i posted. Here we go.

I hear the earth breathe,
It sighs with a longing…
I feel its meat in my hands,
Moist and rich,
I wiggle my toes, saying hello to the worms
And see the water floating above
From a gentle rain.
I open my mouth as a drop
Falls happily down

I listen to the sound…listen
The crackle of a seed bursting to a rose
Seeing the faint glimmer of fallen snow
My breathe rises above me like a chimney
Full of smoke.

There is nothing like a freath of bresh air except maybe a poem that is fresh with literary moisture.

It is so refreshing to see you contribute a poem. I have really missed you and your poetry and your moderation.
