I adore short poems that convey so much in so few words. You certainly succeeded here! Nice! ~~lb~~

I would have liked the poem more if I didn't have to go to "dictionary.com" to figure out that senescent means old. The poem is too short to lose the message

I'm gonna go ahead and say I agree with Cre8tivQT, and I like your substitution of 'aging'.

The simplicity of the poem seems to follow through well with that change.
