I have heard a quote several times but I don't know who said it.

As I remember it, the quote is, "In their life, everyone should plant a tree, write a book and have a baby".

I would like to use this quote in a speach, but I need to know where it came from.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

Thanks,

Ron

The quote has been attributed to Picasso:

or Jose Marti:

Also:
The Torah has thus taught a rule of conduct: that a man should build a house, plant a vineyard and then marry a wife.
