Does anyone know what book the quote "Merry Cat said Constance, would you like a cup (?spot?) of tea?" or "Constance said Merry Cat, would you like a cup (?spot?) of tea?
It is definitely not a new book, I remember it from probably 20 or more years ago & Not sure how old it was at that time. I have never been able to remember the title (or even anything much about the book itself) & it has been driving me crazy for years.!!
