Welcome to Quoteland. Maybe it's this one?
"Once one has understood that one is nothing, the goal of all one's efforts is to become nothing. It is to this end that one suffers with acceptance; it is to this end that one acts; it is to this end that one prays."
~ Simone Weil, French philosopher, political activist, and mystic who died in 1943, at the age of 34

The world is what it is; men who are nothing, who allow themselves to become nothing, have no place in it.
~ V. S. Naipaul

~ Ambrose Bierce
Think about it... if you had nowhere to go, would you be willing to go there? Does that question even make sense?
Which is precisely the point; it doesn't make sense. It leads to nowhere. It is kind of a non-concept, non-thought, non-reality. Spiritually and conceptually it constitutes a big fat zero. The expectation that death ends life is about the closest thing to a non-thought that I can imagine. Would you jump at the chance to become nothing? Probably not. Most people, when faced with the possibility of becoming nothing, opt for continued existence no matter how miserable. So they cling desperately to their interpretation of "life"; i.e. being in a physical body.

To become nothing is to become someone.
