If anyone can help me identify the exact wording of this quote and/or its author, I would really appreciate it.
It goes something like, "The only life worth living is that which is lived in service to others." Or maybe it is "The best life is the one lived in service to others."
I want to say that the author was a religious philosopher or something like that, like a Christian intellectual or something, but I could be way off. Anyone who can help me with the correct quote and the author's name, your help will be greatly appreciated!
Since no man knows the future, who can tell him what is to come? No man has power over the wind to contain it so no one has power over the day of his death. As no one is discharged in time of war, so wickedness will not release those who practice it. ~~The Bible - Ecclesiastes 8:7-8 :: King James Version (KJV)
