The full quote is: "It's amazing how much can be accomplished if no one cares who gets the credit."

I've found this quote attributed to President Truman, John Wooden (UCLA basketball coach, and Blanton Collier (Cleveland Browns football coach).

Who said it first?

The earliest credit goes to Charles Edward Montague, English novelist and essayist (1867-1928): There is no limit to what a man can do so long as he does not care a straw who gets the credit for it.~Disenchantment, ch. 15 (1922)

Truman and Wooden made it more popular and current.
