hello, quotemeisters. I'm hoping someone can point me to the original author of (and i'm probably paraphrasing) "yesterday's luxuries are tomorrow's necessities"

it might be just a marketing spiel for some witty commercial, but i'm hoping it might have a more lofty origin.

cool. thx. i figure if i research the history of commercials in america i'll betcha anything that saying is used alot (and in different ways)

was hoping for someone famous, but this is as good an answer as any =)
